The West End, Broomhill restaurant was voted Best New Restaurant 2005 in the Scottish Chef Awards. An Lochan, which means “by the loch in” Gaelic, takes pride in knowing the people that contribute to your meal. The restaurant is dedicated to bringing fresh seafood from the lochside and delicious meat and game into the city. Highlights from the impressive menu include the fresh Sea Trout Fillet with hand dived Scallops in Pancetta Shallot Puree and Dauphinoise and the smoked haddock chowder to start, perfect for a chilly Glasgow day. Food is locally sourced from Kyles of Bute and served by award winning, AA rosette chef Claire McKie in stylish, relaxed and modern surroundings.
